Understand the Difference Between Importing and Updating

Importing creates a new subscription record in the client; updating makes an existing record reread the current route configuration. Import the first time. Later, when route content or account status changes, an update is usually enough. Repeatedly importing the same subscription creates multiple similar lists and makes it difficult to know which one is current. After the first import, give the subscription a clear name, such as the brand plus its purpose, without putting a password or complete link in the name. Continue updating this primary subscription.

Once the client has successfully read the subscription, you should see a route list or configuration groups. This only proves that the client parsed the content; it does not prove that a connection has been established. If the list is empty after import, return to the user panel and confirm that the copied content is complete. Then check that the client is set to “Import from link” rather than “Import from local file.” If the client reports a format error, do not edit subscription characters yourself. Copy it again from the panel and make sure there are no extra spaces or line breaks before or after the link.

Command-line users can first check basic DNS resolution and network access, but should not paste a real subscription into shared terminal history. For a basic connectivity check, use a public example domain:

Unlimited devices does not mean that each device has a separate data pool; usage still comes from the plan tied to the account. When multiple devices transfer large files at once, watch the total data change in the account overview and give subscriptions clear names on frequently used devices.

Layered Troubleshooting for Subscription Retrieval Failures

When retrieval fails, first check whether the user panel opens normally. If the panel cannot open, the problem is still at the basic access or login layer. If the panel opens but has no subscription entry, check the order status. If the entry exists but the client cannot read it, copy it again and confirm the import method. If the client lists routes but cannot connect, troubleshoot at the route and network layers. Change one condition at a time and record the resulting message. Deleting every configuration and reinstalling should be a last resort, not the first action.

If an old device can update but a new one cannot, compare the systems’ clocks, network environments, and client permissions. If all devices fail to update at the same time, check the account and order status first. Do not infer the overall service status from one error message: the system proxy, DNS, client permissions, and local firewall can all block requests at similar points. PLATFORM IMPORT

Do not immediately change many routing rules. Verify the exit path in the browser first, then test the target application. If only that application fails, the issue is narrowed to its settings. After closing the client, also confirm that the system proxy has been restored so it does not point to a stopped local port.

macOS: Complete Network Extension Authorization

Get the macOS client from the user panel as well. On first launch, the system may ask you to allow a network extension or connection configuration. Read the system prompt and complete the authorization. Then create a subscription in the client, paste the link, and update the routes. If import succeeds but the connection button immediately returns to its previous state, check the network-extension permission in System Settings before importing again. After granting permission, restart the client and select a route to connect.

The macOS menu-bar status is only a connection indicator; the exit path still needs to be checked. Some terminal programs do not automatically read the proxy state of a graphical interface, so development workflows should test the browser, terminal, and target tool separately. If the terminal needs environment variables, configure them using the local proxy information actually provided by the client rather than copying a port from another device. When the client stops, restore those environment variables as part of the workflow so later commands do not try to reach a closed local entry.

iOS: Authorize the System Connection Configuration First

On iOS, open the download area in the user panel and get the client through the page entry. Open the client, add the subscription, update it, and select a route. The first connection attempt asks the system to authorize adding a connection configuration. Confirm it before the client can establish a session. If authorization was canceled, the route list may still be present but no real connection will be established. Trigger the connection again and complete system authorization; deleting the subscription is unnecessary.

After switching between mobile and wireless networks, the old session may need to be rebuilt. When changing networks, observe the client status first, then test the target application. If the webpage works but an application still shows content for the old region, fully close and reopen the application, and if needed clear its cache or sign in again. Do not treat cached content as evidence that the route has failed. Verification should include both the browser exit path and the target application’s actual result.

Android: Handle Background Operation and Network Changes

The Android import flow is: get the client, add the subscription, update the list, select a route, and confirm system connection authorization. The system may restrict background operation, causing the connection to drop when the screen locks or you switch apps. Check the system’s background-operation and battery-management settings for the client so it can keep working when a connection is needed. If command-line verification succeeds while the browser fails, check the desktop proxy or browser settings. If the browser succeeds while the command line fails, check the environment variables and current terminal session. Programs running as system services usually do not inherit temporary variables from a user terminal, so configure them separately in the relevant service. CONNECT AND VERIFY

Establish the Connection and Verify the Path

Connection verification has four layers: client status, exit path, DNS resolution, and target application. Looking only at “connected” in the client can miss routing that was not taken over, an application bypassing the proxy, or an uncleared cache. Looking only at whether a website opens cannot distinguish a route issue from a problem with the destination service. A reliable method is to test in a fixed order, with each step answering one question. Even when something fails, you can then identify the layer where it began.

Establish a Baseline Connection First

For the first connection, choose a nearby route with a clear purpose and avoid rapid repeated switching. Disconnect other similar connection tools, update the subscription, select the route, and connect. Check for a clear success state while watching for permission, configuration, or network errors. Once connected, keep the route unchanged and open a new browser window for verification. A new window reduces the effect of cached tabs, reused connections, and existing login sessions.

If the client reports an error immediately during connection, the problem has not reached the destination website layer. First compare another route in the same region. If only one route fails, temporarily use another and record its name. If every route fails to establish a session, check the underlying network, system time, client permissions, and whether the subscription is current. Do not change the client, network, route, and routing mode at the same time; even if the issue clears, you will not know which action helped.

Check the Exit Path, Not the Interface Color

Exit verification compares network attribution before and after connection. Disconnect the client and note the original path, then connect through the selected route and reopen the lookup page. The result should align with the selected region. Lookup pages may cache old results, so refresh them or use a new private window. After the exit changes, access the target service. Check the DNS Resolution Path

DNS resolution determines how a website address is converted into a destination address. If the exit has changed but some domains remain inaccessible, check whether the system is retaining an old DNS cache or whether the client has taken over DNS settings. Disconnect, close the client, reconnect, and test in a new browser window. In a command-line environment, use the system’s built-in DNS tools to inspect results, but do not treat one lookup as a long-term judgment of route quality.

Example domains are for basic checks only. If resolution succeeds but the web request fails, continue checking the connection and destination access. If resolution itself fails, address DNS or the underlying network first. Record the original system DNS settings before changing them so you can roll back. Do not enable multiple encrypted-DNS apps, browser-specific DNS, and client DNS rules at once before testing; layered configuration makes the actual request path difficult to trace.

Verify Applications One by One

After the browser passes verification, test the applications used daily. Desktop programs, mobile apps, terminals, package managers, and development tools may follow system-proxy settings differently. Test one application at a time and record whether it can sign in, load content, and recover after switching routes. If one application fails while others work, check its network settings and cache before changing the account or purchasing another plan.

For video use, distinguish between being unable to enter a service and playback instability. The former is more likely related to region, account, or application session; the latter may involve current congestion, route choice, or adaptive quality. Do not draw a long-term conclusion from one playback attempt of one clip. Keep the underlying network unchanged, compare other routes in the same region, and choose the more stable one for regular use. Create a Minimal Comparison When Connection Fails

A minimal comparison uses the same device, underlying network, client settings, and two routes from the same region. Replace only the route and observe whether the result changes. If it changes clearly, focus on the route path. If both fail, test another underlying network. If the connection recovers after changing networks, investigate the local network environment. Reinstall the client only at the end. This order protects account and subscription settings that are already correct and gives support a clear record.

When submitting a connection ticket, state the platform, the result shown by the client, the selected region, the type of underlying network, and the comparisons already completed. Do not submit a password or complete subscription. A precise description is easier to diagnose than “it doesn’t work.” By the end of this chapter, you should be able to prove whether the connection is active and distinguish route failure, DNS failure, an application that does not follow the route, and application cache.

MAINTENANCE

Routine Maintenance, Data, and Renewal

Once connected, maintenance is not about constant adjustment. It is about keeping the account, subscription, and client in sync. A stable routine is to check the plan and data in the account overview, update the subscription when needed, keep a small set of familiar routes, and recheck the exit after system or client changes. When this process is repeatable, you can return quickly to a known state instead of reinstalling everything.

Build a Regular Account-Check Habit

Monthly subscription data resets each month on the activation date, so schedule checks around your own activation date rather than the calendar month. Use the user panel as the source of truth; do not infer the account balance from local client statistics. All devices share the data tied to the account. Data packages last until used and never expire, so maintenance centers on the total balance rather than a reset date. When daily use is normal, there is no need to import again every time the client opens. Update the existing primary subscription to avoid duplicate lists. After updating, check that familiar routes are still present, then reconnect and verify the exit.

If an update fails while existing routes still connect, do not delete the local configuration immediately. Keep the working state, check the user panel and underlying network, and try updating again. Deleting the configuration also removes the currently usable routes and broadens the troubleshooting scope. Only consider removing the old record and importing again after confirming that the subscription can be retrieved and the account status is normal. Preserve a recoverable state before making changes.

Sync After Renewal or an Upgrade

Complete renewal or an upgrade in the user panel first. For a mid-cycle monthly upgrade, the price difference is converted into remaining days. Check the current plan before submitting and confirm that the account overview has updated afterward. The client does not handle checkout and cannot change a plan by reimporting locally. Once the account status is confirmed, update the existing subscription in the client. If the panel is current but the client still shows old content, confirm that you updated the correct entry and disconnect before refreshing.

Payment methods are Alipay, WeChat Pay, and USDT. After creating a renewal order, follow the status shown on the order page and do not submit duplicates. If payment is complete but the account status has not changed, keep the order details and handle it through a ticket. The refund policy is a 7-day no-questions-asked refund. When requesting one, start from the relevant account so the ticket can be linked to the order. Public comments or unrelated pages are not order-processing channels.

Review After a System Update

An operating-system update may change network permissions, background restrictions, or the state of a network extension. If the client cannot connect afterward, check permissions first, then update the subscription, and finally verify the exit. Do not attribute the first post-update failure to a route automatically. On Windows, focus on the system proxy and virtual network permissions; on macOS, the network extension; on iOS, the system connection configuration; on Android, background operation; and on Linux, the desktop proxy, environment variables, and service permissions.

Adding this sequence to your device-migration checklist helps prevent missed subscriptions or permissions when changing devices.

Credentials and Device Management

Requiring no email address makes registration more direct, but it also means the username and password must be stored carefully by the user. Use a reliable password-management method, and do not keep complete credentials in ordinary notes, screenshots, or publicly synchronized documents. Before handing over, selling, or resetting a device, sign out and delete the subscription configuration. For shared household or team use, do not publish account credentials in public groups; when usage needs to change, first organize the actual devices and data purposes.

Regular maintenance does not require complex monitoring. Being able to sign in, view the plan, update the subscription, connect to a familiar route, and verify the result covers the main risks. If the same issue keeps recurring, organize the affected platform, network environment, route region, and reproduction steps in a ticket. By the end of this chapter, you should be able to handle renewal, upgrades, device changes, and system updates independently without mistaking local client state for the account’s final status.

Advanced Route Selection and Application Split Routing

Advanced use is not about making configuration more complicated. It is about making route selection, application scope, and fallback behavior more controllable. Once basic connectivity is verified, consider separating paths by region, application, or workflow. Whenever you add a rule, keep the default mode available as a fallback and recheck the exit and target application. Complex rules that cannot be explained increase maintenance costs and can leave hard-to-find old paths after system updates.

Choose Routes by Purpose, Not by Name

Choose a route first by the region required by the target service, then by how the current underlying network performs toward that region. For everyday browsing, start with a nearby region. For content with regional requirements, choose the corresponding region. Development APIs place more value on session continuity, so keep a familiar route that has passed repeated connection checks. Keep a primary and a backup route in the same region; there is no need to add every route for frequent switching. Use the primary for stable workflows and the backup to compare when the primary cannot establish a session or the target application behaves abnormally. Recheck the exit after switching so that a newly selected route in the interface is not mistaken for an active session that still uses the old one. After changing the underlying network on a mobile device, confirm the current route again.

Understand Global Routing and Application Split Routing

Global routing sends more traffic through the current connection, which is useful for first-time verification and troubleshooting. Application split routing handles only specified targets and can keep unrelated traffic off the route. Before setting up split routing, prove that the target application works in global or default mode, then narrow the scope gradually. Starting with complex rules makes it difficult to tell whether a failure comes from the route or from a rule that did not match.

Build split-routing rules around real needs, such as a browser, development tool, or specific application, rather than copying a huge rule set from an unknown source. More rules create more edge cases as domains change, applications update, and caches behave differently. After changing rules, verify the target application and one application that should not use the route, confirming that both paths match expectations. If the client provides rule logs, use them to see whether requests matched; do not treat temporary log results as a long-term availability promise.

Paths for Development Tools and the Command Line

A development environment may include a browser, terminal, editor, package manager, and background services, and they may not share proxy settings. First determine whether the client provides a system proxy or virtual-network takeover, then test each type of tool separately. Use temporary environment variables for one-off terminal tests and clear them afterward. The local address and port must come from the current client and should never be copied from a tutorial example.

If a web-based AI Tool works but an API request fails, check whether the development tool actually uses the current path, whether connection reuse is keeping an old session, and how the caller handles timeouts. Streaming and Cache Checks

After switching routes, fully close and reopen the app, sign in again if necessary, and check whether the catalog has updated. If the browser exit is correct but the app still shows old content, deal with the app cache and session first. For unstable playback, keep the underlying network unchanged and compare routes in the same region. Avoid changing quality, device, and network at the same time, or the result will be hard to interpret.

Do not treat a single loading-speed result as a long-term guarantee when choosing a route. A better approach is to create your own repeatable test: use the same device, underlying network, and target content while comparing a primary and backup route. Record whether the connection is stable, whether switching requires another sign-in, and whether the application follows the changed exit. Over time, keep only the small set of routes that suit your network conditions.

Coordinate Multiple Devices Without Duplicating Configuration

If every device fails on the same network but recovers after changing networks, focus on the underlying network. If devices on different networks all fail to update the subscription, return to the account and order layers. This matrix quickly narrows the scope.

Build a Personal Workflow with a Reliable Fallback

A complete workflow should always preserve one verified default state: one primary subscription, one familiar route, one default routing mode, and one fixed set of verification steps. Record the current state before trying a new route or advanced rule. If the result is unclear, return to the default state. This prevents layered configuration from erasing your baseline.
